Inventory Manager
As the Inventory Manager, you will be an essential member of the Supply Chain team. You will collaborate with both internal and external teams to analyze data, process transactions, measure results, and support optimal supply chain performance. In this role, you will be expected to drive process improvements, develop IC protocol, and maintain inventory accuracy and system synchronicity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for maintaining physical inventory accuracy and system synchronicity between Company 3PL’s, and contract-manufacturing locations.
• Manage the inventory reconciliation process (3PL’s/ Co-manufacturers WMS to Company ERP) to include research of inventory discrepancies, root-cause analysis, and deployment of corrective actions to mitigate reoccurrence.
• Responsible for inventory accuracy and location management at subcontractors / consignment vendors and 3PL’s utilizing system resources and physical/ cycle count protocol. • Manage the cycle count and annual end-of-year physical count process for all locations.
• Collaborate with Compan’s Quality Team and partner 3PL’s to properly and timely identify and disposition customer returns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS in Operations Management / Business, or equivalent inventory control experience
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in inventory control, third party logistics, high volume retail, distribution environment, preferably working with food, beverage, or fast-moving consumer goods.
• Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control modules for WMS, ERP, and process manufacturing systems (Microsoft D365 a plus)
• Experience with batch / lot control within a laterally integrated supply chain model • Possess excellent Excel skills
• Demonstrated track record of success in identifying and implementing process improvements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
