POSITION WAREHOUSE MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible to effectively maintain receiving and shipping schedules including 3PL warehousing and logistics to meet both plant and customer demands.
 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for reviewing and recommending scheduling revisions so as to meet changes in production forecasts, product inventory supplies.
Responsible to review and implement ideas to control and reduce inventory levels.
Responsible for compiling data and facts on inventory level and advise management as to appropriate plan for increasing or reducing inventory levels as needed to achieve company goals.
Provides leadership and support to the warehouse and transportation areas.
Ensures that finished products are stored, handled, identified and shipped according to company and customer specifications and procedures.
Responsible for coordinating the activities associated with this function in order to meet customer (internal and external) requirements in an efficient manner.
Responsible for day-to-day processing of orders to meet both in-house and external customer requirements as efficiently as possible. Perform duties within all safe, sanitary, and good housekeeping guidelines.
Assist in development and implementation of plant safety programs.
Conduct daily floor rounds and interact with operational employees.
Manage assigned employees, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and performance management. Maintain and promote positive employee relations in work environment.
Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF).

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferred
5 years of experience in food processing environment, including 5 years of direct supervisory responsibilities

Certification and/or Licenses
May be required to obtain and maintain other certifications and/or licenses in the future
Knowledge of warehouse scheduling, production systems, policy and procedures.
 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems, specifically Excel and SAP
