POSITION LEAN / CI MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose of Role
•To measure the operational performance of the site and the cost impact
•To drive operational excellence and Lean initiatives across the site
•To enable operations to optimize resource (assets/associates/expenses) utilization by establishing current performance.
•Identify opportunities and lead their development and implementation with engineering
•Be the change agent for the Site and challenge the Plant Manger/Site staff team to development a CI culture
•To help the Site execute with excellence
•Act as a spokesperson for the site with respect to new business activities

Principal Accountabilities
•Drive Operational Excellence, Lean through collection and analysis and reporting of the KPI data.
•Assist in the Operating Plan process for the Site including KPI targets and standards for all aspects of operation
•Identify and Implement Lean methodologies and facilitate Kaizen Events
•Drive improvements through data analysis to achieve 'Best-in-Class' cost structure
•Local CAB management and Capital Project writing and evaluation with engineering
•New Activity Evaluation to coordinate input into Activity and S&OP
•Own the site rates for Master Capacity Planning
•Assist segment IEs and PBT to develop Sites Masterplans to deliver OGSM targets and strategic IDP targets.
•Periodically review line performance with Plant Manager against these Road Maps and champion Operational Excellence

Minimum Qualifications
•Degree in Industrial Engineering or Engineering (other degrees will be considered with relevant experience)
•Minimum of 3-5 years experience in an engineering/manufacturing/operational role
