POSITION HR SUPERVISOR
RESPONSIBILITIES


The HR Generalist provides Human Resources support to the plants and office employees.  Partners in the coordination and implementation of Human Resource activities, such as payroll, employment, benefits, employee relations, training, compliance and other employee services. Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality along with meeting our safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards.

Manage the recruitment process from start to finish.

Make recommendations for increased efficiency in recruitment.

Manage staffing vendors and services.

Ensure competitiveness of staffing rates.Review staffing vendors’ service and rates and go to market for new bids on an annual basis.

Source candidates for job openings using job board and recruitment tools.

Work with HR Manager to develop a plan to attend key job fairs to maintain candidate pools and to recruit for key positions.

Represents the company for job fairs and attend job fairs.

Partners and conducts employee investigations and make recommendations to HR and Department management team.

Writes and/or reviews disciplinary actions. Serves as an advocate for employee actions given by supervisors.

Maintain employee investigation files.

Ensure supervisor and employee compliance with company policy.

Ensure company and employee compliance with time and labor laws.

Make recommendations to improve company policy when needed and submit company policy revision to HR management team.

Administer the company performance management system.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the HRM as needed.

Interpret and administer State and federal labor law to employees.

Exercise discreetness when dealing with issues of a confidential nature.

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.

Demonstrate attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all written documents.

Work a flexible work schedule in the event that an employee investigation or other project needs to be performed after normal business hours.

Demonstrate a positive “can do” attitude.

Skills you’ll need:

Education:

High school diploma or GED; and 3 years of experience in an HR Administrator or related role.

Microsoft SharePoint and Office Suite
